PLAYER REGISTRATION FOR 2023 APP NEW YORK CITY OPEN BEGINS FEB. 28
The crown jewel of the APP Tour calendar, the 2023 APP New York City Open, returns to the iconic USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center May 24-28; Five-day tournament marks sixth stop on 2023 APP Tour – open to professionals, senior professionals, super senior professionals and amateur pickleball players
Mark your calendars – The APP is returning to one of the most prestigious settings in all of sports this spring: the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, New York. Starting next week, players will have the chance to register and play in front of one of the most iconic backdrops in the racket sports world – Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Player registrations for the 2023 APP New York City Open, held May 24-28, are set to open on February 28 at 1 pm ET. Players can register via PickleballTournaments.com.
The inaugural edition of the APP New York City Open in 2022 played host to nearly 1,200 players. The 2023 APP New York City Open will feature five days of elite pickleball action – open to amateurs of all ages and abilities as well as the nation’s top pros. Singles, doubles, and mixed doubles competition will be held for men and women of the following age groups: 19+, 35+, 50+, 55+, 60+ and 70+, at skill levels 3.0 through 5.0.
