The stage is set for our second APP Tour event of 2023 – the APP Daytona Beach Open. Five days of action awaits from the state-of-the-art Pictona at Holly Hill venue, starting Wednesday February 8th.

Nearly 1,200 players – amateurs, pros, and senior pros – will participate in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles competition throughout the week. The APP Daytona Beach Open will be streamed live on ESPN+ on Saturday, Feb. 11 and Sunday, Feb. 12, and a one-hour Championship Sunday recap special will air on ESPN2 on Sunday, Feb. 12 at 8 pm ET.

Spectator tickets for the event are available HERE from just $15. Walk-up tickets for single-day sessions will also be available for purchase at the venue with doors opening at 8 am ET each day.

Among the top pros participating are Parris Todd, Hunter and Yates Johnson, Simone Jardim, and Andrei Daescu. Todd looks to build off her incredible, historic season-opening performance at the APP Sunmed Punta Gorda Open, where she became the second woman in APP history to earn a Triple Crown with three gold medals in the season-opening event of 2023.

Hunter Johnson began his second season on the APP Tour on a strong note, securing two gold medals in Punta Gorda – one in men’s pro singles and one in mixed pro doubles – and teamed up with twin brother Yates to earn bronze in men’s pro doubles. Yates also earned bronze in men’s pro singles.

Jardim returned to the APP in triumphant fashion after mulling retirement in 2022. The pickleball legend from Naples, Fla. took home gold with Todd in women’s pro doubles, and earned silver in mixed pro doubles alongside Daescu.

Daescu started the 2023 campaign on a strong note, winning gold in men’s pro doubles with Kyle Yates and taking home the silver in mixed pro doubles with Jardim.

Fans can stay posted on all the action by following the APP’s social media pages – @OfficialAPPTour on Instagram and Twitter, and APP Tour on Facebook.
