PHOENIX — USA Pickleball, the National Governing Body for the sport of pickleball, is supporting the inaugural Pickleball Slam, set to take place on Sunday, April 2, at Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, in Hollywood, Florida.
Tennis legends Andre Agassi, Michael Chang, John McEnroe and Andy Roddick will face off on the pickleball court and compete for a million-dollar prize purse. The Pickleball Slam, created by Horizon Sports & Experiences (HS&E) and InsideOut Sports & Entertainment (ISE), will be broadcast live on ESPN at noon ET.
The event also features the Amateur Pickleball Slam Tournament, played March 31-April 1, with doubles teams vying for a $10,000 team prize and a chance to compete against two of the tennis legends prior to the April 2 televised event. Tickets for attending the main event can be purchased here. More information on the Pickleball Slam can be found on the official event website.
