The PPA Tour Unveils Deal with CBS Sports for 2023 Season

CBS Sports Set to Air Over 30 Hours of Coverage Across CBS, CBS Sports Network, and Paramount+ in 2023

SALT LAKE CITY, UT (April. 19, 2023) – The Carvana Professional Pickleball Association (PPA Tour) today announced a deal with CBS Sports for the 2023 season, with over 30 hours of pickleball to be aired across CBS, CBS Sports Network, and Paramount+.

“Pickleball has built an impressive name for itself in the world of entertainment in an extraordinarily short amount of time, and our agreement with CBS Sports is an important symptom of that,” said Connor Pardoe, CEO of the PPA Tour. “Thanks to networks like CBS Sports, we’re able to showcase our sport and our professional athletes across the globe.

Last year, the PPA Tour and CBS Sports showcased pickleball on a national stage with the Skechers Summer Invitational on August 13, during which the sport’s live viewership hit an all-time high. 

CBS Sports will kick off a weekend of pickleball coverage on Friday, April 21 with the PPA Tour’s Newport Beach Doubles Shootout, with live coverage from 3-6pm ET on CBS Sports Network. Coverage will continue on Saturday, April 22 from 1-2pm ET on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
