APP-Sunmed Extension Release

The APP announced today that Sunmed, the Official CBD and Hemp Product Partner of the APP, has been named the title sponsor of four 2023 APP Tour events. Sunmed will entitle and activate two west coast events – the APP Sunmed Sacramento Open and the APP Sunmed San Diego Classic  – and two east coach events – the APP Sunmed New Jersey Open and the APP Sunmed Atlanta Open.

The extension of the partnership between the APP and Sunmed sees the following four 2023 APP Tour events being renamed:

• APP Sunmed Sacramento Open (Apr. 26-30), taking place at the Spare Time Sports Club in Johnson Ranch, live streaming on APPTV on April 29 and 30, with Championship Sunday highlights on CBS Sports Network on April 30 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm PST.
• APP Sunmed San Diego Classic (Aug. 9-13), taking place at The HUB in Spring Valley, live streaming on APPTV on August 12 and 13, with Championship Sunday highlights on CBS Sports Network at a time TBD.
• APP Sunmed New Jersey Open (Sep. 6-10), taking place at the Avalon Pickleball Complex in Avalon, New Jersey, live streaming on APPTV on September 9 and 10, with Championship Sunday highlights on CBS Sports Network on Monday, September 11 from 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm EST.
• APP Sunmed Atlanta Open (Sep. 27-Oct. 1), taking place at Spalding County Pickleball Complex, Atlanta, live streaming on APPTV on September 30 and October 1, with coverage from Championship Sunday live on CBS Sports Network from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm EST on October 1.

The addition of four tournament title sponsorships brings Sunmed’s 2023 season total to five, with the APP Sunmed Punta Gorda Open kicking off the 2023 APP Tour season in January. The Sunmed brand will immerse itself at all APP Tour events in 2023 with in-venue branding and visibility, including on-site activation spaces where fans can sample the latest Sunmed products – including their Pain Relief Roll-on, Topical Spray, Topical Cream, and Hydrate Beverage Enhancer.
