In the Atlanta Slam Final: Johnson beat Garnett (11-2, 8-11, 11-9). Garnett led 7-0 in Game Three at Atlanta before Johnson came storming back to win 11-9.)

- Patriquin and Staksrud won the Sacramento Open in June. The final against Frazier & Johnson was played at a high level: Staksrud and Patriquin had -no- dinking errors and they dominated when they initiated speed-ups.
- Patriquin and Staksrud won the Virginia Beach Cup, beating Johns/Johns in five games in the finals.
