GOLDEN TICKET TOURNAMENT GOLD MEDALISTS RECIEVE PRIORITY REGISTRATION
PHOENIX — USA Pickleball, the National Governing Body for the sport of pickleball in the U.S., announced registration opens Aug. 21 at 8 a.m. PST for qualified players for the 2024 Biofreeze USA Pickleball National Championships on Nov. 9-17 at the Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa, Ariz.
Previously hosted for several years in Indian Wells, Calif., Buckeye, Ariz. and last year, Dallas, USA Pickleball Nationals will return to the Sonoran Desert for its sixteenth appearance.
“Athlete experience is our top priority at this year’s Biofreeze USA Pickleball National Championships,”
said Mike Nealy, CEO of USA Pickleball. “We’re excited to offer a state-of-the-art venue, with each match officiated, free practice facilities and a live stream on every court. Additionally, we’re offering several match viewing opportunities and unique player activations through the support of our generous partners.”
USA Pickleball’s Golden Ticket Tournament gold medalists and 70+ bracket qualified players receive pre-registration from Aug. 21 at 8 a.m. PST through Aug. 25 at 8 p.m. PST. Silver and bronze medalists’ registration period is open from Aug. 28 at 8 a.m. PST through Sept. 1 at 8 p.m. PST. If open registration spots remain, eligible players can register via lottery from Sept. 4 at 8 a.m. PST through Sept. 8 at 8 p.m. PST.
Additionally, Professional, Junior and adaptive/wheelchair players will be able to register from Sept. 9 at 8 a.m. PST through Sept. 30 at 8 p.m. PST.
Registration is limited. Athletes are encouraged to register as soon as possible to secure their spot at USA Pickleball Nationals. Players who register after their designated period will be entered into a lottery and notified of their confirmation in September.
As part of this year’s athlete experience, registrants will receive a premium pickleball gift, aluminum bag tag, USA Pickleball Nationals commemorative pin and special partner giveaways.
Additionally, athletes and guests can expect ample spectator and viewing experience for family and friends, engaging player events on and off the court, free practice courts available for use throughout the event, several partner activations, a multitude of food and beverage offerings, an all-player hospitality lounge for all competitors, and more. Spectator ticket sales for Nationals will open in early fall.
The 2024 Biofreeze USA Pickleball National Championships will feature amateur divisions including Junior through 80+ and adaptive events. USA Pickleball members secured their spots by competing in a USA Pickleball Golden Ticket qualifying event.
