Global fan-first ticketing marketplace joins forces with the APP for highly innovative multi-platform partnership; SI Tickets named Official Ticketing Partner of the APP;  New ‘Box Office’ event management platform and primary blockchain NFT ticketing solution transforms fans’ tickets into engaging content, exclusive offers, rewards, and more; SI Tickets to host prominent on-site marketing activations at APP Tour events in 2023

The APP announced today a highly innovative strategic, multi-platform partnership with SI Tickets, the fan-first ticketing site from Sports Illustrated, which will now serve as the Official Ticketing Provider of the APP and the official home of primary ticket sales for all 2023 APP Tour events, starting with the 2023 APP Newport Beach Open. 

APP Tour tickets will be available through Box Office by Sports Illustrated Tickets, an innovative event management platform and primary ticketing solution built in partnership with web3 leader ConsenSys and powered by Polygon’s blockchain technology. Launched earlier this month, Box Office is the first global platform to combine a complete NFT ticket solution for events of any size with visibility and adjacency to traditional, non-NFT tickets alongside the biggest in sports, concert and theater on the SI Tickets marketplace. 

Box Office’s all-new Super Ticket™, a collaboration between SI Tickets and ConsenSys, is an NFT ticket that empowers the APP to remain connected to its fans like never before. Through highlights, collectibles, exclusive offers and more, the Super Ticket™ unlocks engagement opportunities between the APP and its attendees before, during and after events.

The relationship will kick off at the APP’s jewel event, The Boca Raton APP New York City Open, at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, May 23 – 28, with a unique on-site marketing activation where players and attendees can create their own commemorative Sports Illustrated digital fan cover to take home and share with family and friends. Tickets to APP Tour events will be available exclusively via Box Office by SI Tickets starting with the APP Newport Beach Open, held June 28 – July 3.
